dog is dead

i believe that the god that is created and is revered to by millions does not exist.
if this ever loving father existed., why is there suffering? how come when something good happens to us, its a blessing from him, and when there is suffering and hatred, it is our free will? isnt it a rather shaky principle.

i believe there is a god. but not the one i was told when i was born.

i respect on what you believe and on your judgement. I don't know what you've been through to have such hatred and grudge towards HIM. I'm not either a religious nor a practicing catholic (I used to) but I still do believe on HIM. I know one day you would believe on HIM again... the one that has been told to you when you were born. I would pray on that...

Let us remember that even before Christ suffering, hatred, and war already exist. I'm not really in a position to argue something about with religion or something to do with God, I believe that I'm not that capable and my knowledge is not enough. But I would like to point out that yes he does exist, though many times I've been experiencing crisis in my life as well and my faith towards him was put in to test in countless times but still I never doubted his presence, I know and believe he does exist.

As for the suffering and hatred you mentioned, as far as I know this happen when Adam and Eve was thrown away from the garden of Eden (after they ate the forbidden fruit). Thus, as a result life has been harsh for them and until now we were part of it.

Let us not focus too much on this, nor blame God too much. We have done enough towards him and he has done more than enough for us as well. Let us just see it on a different side that suffering is what made us who we are and who will we become rather than putting all the blame to God.

And as I said above that he does exist, yes he does! Why I said so? Because you were here, able to finish your studies, has a good job, in good health, physically able, and the list goes on and on for you to be able to see and realize that he does exist only you failed to see and recognized it.

I can understand why you feel that way. And you are not alone. There are a lot of people who question the existence of a supreme being.

I won't impose my own views regarding God because they are of no importance. I would just like to say that if you choose not to believe in God, that does not make you less of a person. I know of many religious, devout, and pious people who are hypocrites. I also know some agnostics and atheists who are perfectly moral and just- even though they do not believe in God. Different folks, differents strokes.

In the end, it all boils down to one thing: Genuine respect for other's beliefs.

Amen to that.

The world is unfair huh? That's an understatement. Check out my blog and read the piece entitled "Clarissa." I think you will want to think up another word for unfair after reading it. :)
